This beautiful family was long overdue for family pictures! Their last session was five years ago, so I knew the location had to be fabulous. Luckily, the goldenrod is at it’s peak in September. Buffalo Creek forest preserve has this beautiful area that is just yellow as far as you can see, it’s so stunning in photos! The family dog Bandit kept things fun, routinely photo-bombing our poses and trying desperately to play with every other dog that passed by. It was such a fun session, and I especially love the photos of the two girls together. We had the most beautiful light at the end, and that is just one of my favorite things about this location.
