My Story
I am loving life in Palatine Illinois with my husband and two boys. I am a DIY lover (my old home improvement blog is still out there, check it out here!) an avid gardener, and a light-chaser. In the cold months, my favorite activity is laughing my butt off on the couch while watching my favorite shows. For the few months Chicago is not a frozen tundra, you can find me outside somewhere with my camera, capturing that perfect sunstar or dramatic sky in the background while my kids are playing. Usually, frolicking in wildflowers is involved. Summer is my favorite season! I also think there is nothing better than "driveway time" enjoying some beers with anyone who happens to walk by. All are welcome here!
I am always looking for creative ways to use light, composition, and emotion to make truly beautiful images. I am also a goofball to make sure everyone has a great time during our session! My goal is to capture the spirit of you and your family with a mixture of candid and posed images you will love forever. Natural, Colorful, and Beautiful….those are the words I hope my clients will use to describe my work. I can’t wait to meet you!

MINI SESSIONS!
I pulled a couple cute shots out of the archives to advertise the most wonderful time of the (photography) year! I have several mini session nights and mornings scheduled, I hope to see your family this year! I am still booking longer sessions on weeknights, and I have one or two weekend evenings open as well. This sweet family had a lot of schedules to coordinate, and could only do a midday time for their family session. I am so grateful to live near this cute little park with great trees! I never want to turn somebody away for not being available at golden hour or early in the morning. I know they love the results as much as I do!
