When I booked this couple, I envisioned romantic, moody, yet colorful photos at Whitetail Woods Regional Park in Farmington. The location can’t be beat for beautiful backdrops. There is a lot of variety in the park, and the bonus was that it was totally empty! Prairie, forest, fields, bridges, winding paths, this park has it all. My models were totally natural in front of the camera, so I got to just stand back and capture their interaction for much of the shoot. These two got married recently, and it is pretty obvious they are totally perfect for each other. We lucked out with unseasonably warm weather, but unfortunately it was overcast with a dull white sky. I remedied the situation with a little help from sky overlays, and ended up with the amazing images I was after. I am especially in love with the dramatic tree shots! I believe that as artists, photographers should deliver the best possible product to the client – beautiful wall art to enjoy for years to come. I am so happy to have created these images for this lovely couple!
