Let’s face it, this school year is going to be very difficult. Parents of public school kids aren’t sure if our kids will ever get to go back in person, and things like after school activities and other social things are also up in the air. One of those things we aren’t sure about, is picture day. I look forward to picture day each year even though I am more than capable of taking great photos of my kids! It’s something many kids secretly love, and my kids like to look back at their yearly photos and reminisce. While I’m sure the schools will figure something out, I thought this was the perfect year to try my hand at modern school pictures to give our kiddos something to look forward to other than e-learning in our living rooms. This is something I have always wanted to do, so I set up my back backdrop in my garage and enlisted the help of my kids and my friend’s amazing kids to model my setup. I am floored with how awesome these came out with just a simple backdrop!
Don’t mind the appearance of the garage, we are living our best quarantine life here! Just picture your kids being expressive and having fun, then getting to choose your favorite timeless and beautiful images from a private proofing gallery.
These will be super short sessions that will include close ups, full body images, and half body images. I encourage you to let you child’s personality shine! These sessions are so much fun for them, and you just can’t replicate this look at school picture day. Here are all the details:
Modern School Pictures
- $75 per child to book, parents will then receive $60 in credit to use for prints or digital images from a private online proofing gallery
- 5-10 minute session
- Sibling shots are allowed if all siblings have paid sessions booked back to back
- Proofing gallery with approximately 10-15 images will be sent within two days for selection of images
- Digital images are $20 each, professional lustre prints are priced as follows:
- $15 for (3) 4×6 of the same image
- $15 for (2) 5×7 of the same image
- $15 for (1) 8×10
- $35 for (1) 11×14
