Hey, friends! I’m popping onto the blog to share this perfect summer engagement photo session in one of my favorite Illinois forest preserves, Cuba Marsh. Brace yourselves for some dreamy shots and all the feels as we dive into this beautiful adventure!
I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the love story of this cool couple on a sunny summer day. It started out bright and fun, but as we ventured deeper into the forest, the air became cooler and it was so calm. Golden sunlight peeked through the foliage, casting a soft glow. They hugged and laughed amidst the trees, needing very little prompting create these images! Cuba Marsh forest preserve offers so many opportunities for creativity because of the amazing pine trees and fields of flowers. This couple danced on the paths, climbed on fallen logs, and led each other through the grass. The grand finale was a pretty sunset that created the perfect orange glow through the trees.
