This beautiful couple wanted to celebrate their little girl’s first birthday with a family session and outdoor cake smash, which is pretty much my favorite type of session! I remember my own son’s first birthday session and cake smash so fondly, but he was running absolutely everywhere, and this little one is just starting to stand on her own. It was so fun to see her proudly stand by the water! I think after initially being unsure about the cake, she really loved digging in at the end…literally! I hope this family loves the images of their little girl, as much as I loved taking them.
