My Story
I am loving life in Palatine Illinois with my husband and two boys. I am a DIY lover (my old home improvement blog is still out there, check it out here!) an avid gardener, and a light-chaser. In the cold months, my favorite activity is laughing my butt off on the couch while watching my favorite shows. For the few months Chicago is not a frozen tundra, you can find me outside somewhere with my camera, capturing that perfect sunstar or dramatic sky in the background while my kids are playing. Usually, frolicking in wildflowers is involved. Summer is my favorite season! I also think there is nothing better than "driveway time" enjoying some beers with anyone who happens to walk by. All are welcome here!
I am always looking for creative ways to use light, composition, and emotion to make truly beautiful images. I am also a goofball to make sure everyone has a great time during our session! My goal is to capture the spirit of you and your family with a mixture of candid and posed images you will love forever. Natural, Colorful, and Beautiful….those are the words I hope my clients will use to describe my work. I can’t wait to meet you!

Officially wrapping up 2025! 🎉
Going back through my 2025 sessions, I am reminded of all the fun times I had with my amazing clients! Forgive me for not doing an official recap of all of those great sessions. This winter has been a difficult one, and I am just now getting back into business mode. Engagement session in the 🌨️
This couple had their engagement session planned for last Saturday, and it turned out to be the coldest day. As soon as we arrived the blowing snow started, but we managed to get these beautiful images anyway! I love the photos so much, congrats to the couple! ❤️

My beautiful friend needed some new headshots, so she packed her harp into the car and we delighted passersby in downtown Palatine! I hope she loves them as much as I do.
