I took personal branding photos for Shannon’s amazing book called ‘The Happy Hormone Guide last year, and this year she contacted me again to do some Lake Zurich engagement photos with her longtime boyfriend. It was such a honor to capture these two! We used a lovely LZ location for summertime vibes, but had to work fast because the clouds rolled in quickly after we started. Just as we were wrapping up, the rain started – and I’m so glad I caught some of that moody sky in the last silhouette image! Engagement photos don’t have to be super posed or awkward, we just walked around and enjoyed the time together. I wish these two all the happiness in the world, and hope they love their photos!
