This family met me in beautiful historic Long Grove for some family photos early this month. It was a warm day for December, with plenty of sunshine. I love how bright the day looks in the photos, it really gives me new appreciation for doing mid day photo sessions. The harsh sun can be hard to deal with, but with creative posing and the shade from buildings, it can look beautiful! I don’t usually edit in black and white, but I thought the photos in front of the red wall looked so striking in a high contrast black and white, and I love finding ways to add variety to galleries. This family was so sweet and full of laughter! We spent our time together walking around Long Grove (where the parents got married!) and finding great spots to capture. This area remains one of my favorites, enjoy the photos.
